Mas Shandy Smith has been studying Poekoelan Tjimindie for 16 years. He has achieved the rank of 2nd degree black belt in Poekoelan Tjimindie Kung Fu under the tutelage of Sensei Brian Cowing and Sensei Ruthanne Cowing of 5th River Karate School in Provincetown, MA.

Mas Shandy has also studied the art of Shaolin-Do under Master Joe Schaefer of Austin, TX and has achieved the rank of 2nd degree Brown Belt.

Mas Shandy has also studied numerous other styles of martial arts including Aikido, Tae Kwon Do, Kenpo, Tai Chi (white crane), and Central Shaolin.

Mas Shandy has been a student of life as well, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, he has traveled and worked in the Peace Corps as a volunteer in Kyrgyzstan, and after returning from Peace Corps he continued his education with the study of Kinesiology and sports injuries.

Mas Shandy is certified by the Red Cross in First Aid and Adult CPR.

Mas Jessica has studied Poekoelan Tjimindie Kung Fu for the past 6 years. She achieved the rank of Black Belt at the age of 24. Her belt was awarded by Sensei Brian Cowing and Sensei Ruthanne Cowing of 5th River Karate School in Provincetown, MA.

Mas Jessica has studied a few other varieties of martial arts including Central Shaolin, Shaolin Do, and Aikido.

Mas Jessica's other interests include Travel, Business, and enjoying the company of her diverse group of friends. She has received degrees in Business Administration and French from the University of Texas at Austin, and she has traveled and worked with the Peace Corps in Kyrgyzstan

Mas Jessica is certified by the Red Cross in First Aid and Adult CPR.
